A gourmet ride from the vineyard to the abbey

Route description

Ride into the heart of the Estinnes countryside and explore the vignoble des Agaises. The vineyard has been continuing the Champagne tradition in Belgium for 17 years now, producing sparkling wines (Ruffus cuvée) which have received prizes at major competitions.

Not far away is the abbaye de Bonne-Espérance. Founded in 1130, this is the only abbey in Hainaut to have been spared the assaults of the French Revolution.

Feel free to stop off for a few minutes and enjoy a nice cold beer or some delicious local produce. The rolling hills of Estinnes and its rural landscape are ideal for a family stroll.
